Defence and Conflict
Experience can be the difference between life and death in non-permissive or conflict-based environments.
How can ASA assist with military medical services?
ASA has a proud history of guaranteeing the safety of operational staff and patients while working in extreme conditions. Trusted by the United Nations, Australian Defence Force and NATO, our staff arrive on-site with years of defence and emergency services experience and are qualified to manage training, health and medical emergencies in the most challenging circumstances.
ASA has previously provided solutions for nine primary health clinics and aeromedical evacuation nodes throughout Afghanistan for the United Nations Development Program; rotary wing aeromedical evacuation team supporting mining projects in Southern Sudan; and a Medical Crash Crew Service for the Kandahar International Airfield.
Whether responding to the needs of an existing project or developing solutions for a new operation, ASA has the experience to ensure life or death situations end well.
Oil, Gas and Mining
The resource industry sectors such as oil, gas and mining often conduct operations in remote areas, far from the normal health infrastructure. At ASA we understand the industry’s ongoing commitment to workplace health and safety and have the training and experience to support and ensure safety.
Our highly skilled staff have been deployed to the gold mining operations in the remote highlands of Papua New Guinea; provided health management to the oil industry in Kazakhstan; provided a medical network for the gas industry in the Surat Basin of Queensland, Australia; and provided services in locations as diverse as Tibet, Mongolia, the Philippines and Niger.
